    Exquisitely carved birdcage cuckoo clock with animated bird.

    This clock is an example of the finest carving available. The clock hangs on an intricately carved backboard full of trees and brambles. The clock itself has a bahnhausle design with a metal cage housing a life-sized, hand-carved and hand-painted bird. The bird flaps its wings and moves its beak to the call of cuckoo. The hands and numbers are solid wood. 8 Day German movement and 2 year warranty. Made by Rombach & Haas of the Black Forest in Germany.

    The bird is finely painted to show even more depth and life-like realism.

    This clock was also the winner of the VDS Best Black Forest Clock of the Year Award for 2003.
